Re: Real documented Collusion in Government

sam,   leaves  us or  US , asking  what   the  Georgetown  University  Alumni -  Professors,   might  be  discussing  about  a  certain  graduate  of  1971  &  1974   class  - ?

......and yet , the barrier wall is being built, right now, even as I type. I remember how many Marxist supporters here, said the wall would never be built.

Re: that's not really what you say

What part about Bill Clinton meeting Loretta Lynch at an obscure airport tarmac and the Obama Justice Department calling off the dogs on Mrs. Clinton is so hard to understand?

What part about the FBI granting immunity to all the underlings, having the evidence destroyed and moving on is all that complicated?

Pretty compelling testimony by Lisa Page about how the FBI really wasn't all about serving the best interests of the USA but was rather a partisan group with an agenda.

Yawns.....just another day of "good government".

But lets talk about Russia Russia Russia instead, right?

And to answer "why" congress didn't go after any of this when they supposedly had "all the power"....are you serious? Congress could not even repeal the CF that is obamacare. Maybe you have been on vacation for a couple of years in a TDS stupor.

Trump has had a "little" bit of trouble in trying to enact his campaign promises, but not for lack of effort.

When you are up to your "kiester" in alligators, it's is hard to actually drain the swamp.

Best case scenario is that the Democrats continue to misinterpret 2018 election results, and that Trump plays his 2020 hand well and gets a supportive congress. that will play ball

Re: that's not really what you say

Yes.  Curious minds want to know.  Proof of all or any of that would be earthshaking. That coming from, btw, someone, me,  who if you’ve been reading these pages for anytime at all is no fan of, if not a full blown despiser of any and everything Clinton. Or the DLC wing of the Party the represent.

Then one comes to paragraph 6 of your post where you make the hideously disingenuous point that the GOP couldn’t get legislation past a filibuster which therefore somehow means that those House and Senate Committees that the controlled couldn’t address the numerous issues that you list.

That is total irrational BS, but has become a treasured meme....Democrat obstruction over something Democrats had no means or power to obstruct.

Come to your own conclusion, but the conventional wisdom among observing wonks is that there was too much adverse risk in “going there”.  Which hasn’t seemed to be much of a problem in the inverse situation.

Should make for good curmudgeonly conversation in small town nursing home 15-20 years from now if nothing else.
