Repeal and replacement is not the way to go about it.

The only reason to repeal is to strike a thorn in Obama and the democrats. A political insult.

However a replacement might be an option. That does require  some thought and debate to come up with a positive alternative that both sides can support. Which i know is next to an impossible endevour. The widely differing mindset is not condusive to any such mutual agreement.

So americans are divided about the ACA but a large part of the frustration is verbage and actions by the right. A political war that they want to end in disgrace for the democrats. Time after time the congress produces new legislation that changes certain aspects of federal law. And those changes are made without repeal of old legislation but the passage of new replacement legislation.

So instead of demeaning the ACA or the folks that passed it, get off your lazy ass and develop and present something far better. if that is your objective to provide the public with a far better product. Instead I think the repub objective is and was always to win a political victory and insult Obama and the dems.

Not so sure that what the populist wave that drove the 2014 election wanted was Boardroom governance.  That is all we have seen out of the GOP leadership thus far.  All we have heard from prospective candidates for 2016.

It just might be possible that the Justices may ask the plaintiffs what it is that they have prepared to move into place to replace the items that they are being petitioned to invalidate.

You do not have the keys to the car. The white house does. In fact you don't even  have control of the house. Which faction are you? The right? or extreme right? Because those two faction aren't likely to produce much of anything.

Can you even fathom how much law could have been passed had Boehnor opted to offer bipartisan legislation and let it pass? Thus the extreme right tea baggers held their own speaker hostage to their demands. Rather than ignore the baggers he gave in to them and they passed legislation that was doomed for failure.

That hs always been the baggers objective. To ram their philosophy down everyone elses throat. Much likethe christian right. Not that there is anything about them that is either christian or right. Mostly unamerican!
