Replace and another ball drops

If you don't like what the legal courts say you just replace them.

At least that is what dictators do.........

Isn't that what the progressives said needed to be done to the county clerk who refused marriage licences to same sex couples? I look at it as a move of bipartisanship.

She basically asked for it --

"As long as I am the acting attorney general, the department of justice will not present arguments in defence of the Executive Order," she said.

Quite a difference 20.

The clerk was going against a supreme court ruling.

Yates was saying she was not going to waste time and resources on a command that was likely going to be over turned by the court.

BTW several courts have already ruled against it as I understand.

In the U.S the president is commander in chief, even generals must salute the president. If you work for the government and disobey a direct order from the president you will lose your job, period! In a democracy you get fired for not performing your duty, in a dictatorship you get executed.

Duty

There is an obligation and duty to stand up and speak out when Blotus issues an EO, as James Comey, DOJ  did under Bush,

HE said, he could not and will not enforce it.

Bush invited him to the WH and the result was a modified EO.

I remember that Harry S. Truman (D) , the president that signed the death warrant to drop two Atomic bombs onto the population of two cities, had fired General Douglas McArthur during the Korean Conflict.
