We have this 40 year high in inflation because "too much money is chasing too few goods", right?  New/used cars sell as soon as they hit the lot, pent up demand has people flying, buying boats, ect all that economic activity (from inflation) has "businesses doin` great!) ... Well stands to reason all that inflationary activity would increase tax revenues.

Used cars and to a large extent new are the perfect example of too little supply during a sizable  period just past.

The only monetary argument there is that you should have shrunk demand proportionately- a truly unhinged notion.

Dems would never be that crazy and Q’s only would if they were trying to sabotage a Dem President.
