The decision comes less than two hours after President-elect Donald Trump criticized the timing of the vote, which was scheduled for the first day of the new congressional session.

Trump called out his fellow Republicans Tuesday for proposing to curb the powers of the independent ethics panel as their first move of the year, although the President-elect suggested the ethics panel was "unfair."

"With all that Congress has to work on, do they really have to make the weakening of the Independent Ethics Watchdog, as unfair as it ... may be, their number one act and priority. Focus on tax reform, healthcare and so many other things of far greater importance! #DTS," Trump said over two consecutive tweets.

As far as El Trasho's tweets go he didn't exactly disapprove, just didn't think it was a good time to be messin with it, as "unfair(?????)" as it is that Good People can't do dishonest stuff as easily.

while still uneasy with trump, i will admit, him being upset with this closed door deal to kill the very thing that kept eveything

above board, was the right thing to do.  He was trying to drain the swamp, yet a group of rat's were trying to errect a dike

to stop the water flowing out.

i do believe there are things that need to be fixed.....but this "hell bent for election", attitude by some of the republicans and

turmp himself at times, is my concerns....if they take time to study the problem, and come up with some workable soluations,

then yes, i'll support them.

but waltzing in, and tearing down everything, and having to rebuild, i can't go that.....far more economical in most instances

to repair, than replace.

maybe.....my uneasyness is misdirected.....perhaps it should be with the republican party, rather than trump........

but it's still early.
