Re: According to former Surgeon General Koop:

I didn't say you said anything about it.  I asked if you would like even the 1% outlawed.  I also didn't say anything about "unnecessary procedures or imaginary problems".  I asked if you wife or daughter were part of the 1% that are needed to save the mother's live, would you still be against it.

Re: According to former Surgeon General Koop:

Where did I ever say I wanted to outlaw abortion, to save the mother's life? I believe in the post above, if it was a choice of whether the pregnancy could kill the mother, that it should be the women's decision, whether she wanted to take the risk, or not. . . . Also, it is a decision not to be taken lightly. It is a matter of human life.

Re: According to former Surgeon General Koop:

I thought you asked if I would 'still' be against abortions to save a mother's life.

I don't belive I ever WAS against an abortion, where the pregnancy would kill the mother, hence my confusion.

My stance, is to try to save the life you can save, especially an innocent life.
