Romey uses Nazi Slogan?

Romney's slogan is "Believe in America,"  but long before that there was a slogan and other references by the Nazis that said "I Believe in Germany," as well as "I Believe in Hitler."

Baldur von Schirach was a Nazi youth leader who was later accused of being a war criminal. He wrote, "To the Führer. This is the truth which bound me to thee: I looked for thee and found my Fatherland. I was a leaf floating in limitless space. Now thou art my homeland and my tree. How far would I be carried by the wind, wert thou not the strength that flows up from the roots. I believe in thee, for thou art the nation. I believe in Germany. For thou art Germany's son."

(note: Schirach also used the word "homeland" which George bush chose when he created the Department of "Homeland" Security.

Schirach was not the only Nazi to use this phrase. Arthur Seyss-Inquart, was a prominent lawyer and later Nazi official in pre-Anschluss Austria who was later hung after the Nuremburg trials, also used the phrase "I believe in Gernamy."

There are many other examples of "I believe" phrases in Nazi Germany such as Thule member Dietrich Eckart who said to Alfred Rosenberg he said: "I believe in Hitler; above him there hovers a star."

Just search around and you too will "believe." Romney is using Nazi lingo, why?

Ridiculous? (yes, I don't believe a bit of it - all it takes is a little ill-willed research, but such BS claims are easy to make, say against a President or a candidate.)

As good a representation as I can find of our political candidates and their campaigns:

Re: Romey uses Nazi Slogan?

"Forward to the victory of Communism" and Obama's "Forward" is not near as close to "I believe in Germany" or "I believe in Hitler" is to Romney's "Believe in America." Romney got closer to the Nazi saying than Obama got to the Communist one. Since there is at least one word the same, Romney has to be a Nazi if Obama is a Communist for his slogan.

Re: Romey uses Nazi Slogan?

Yet no denial of the Romney Nazi connection? Well I'll be!!!!! So we have a Communist running against a Nazi? God bless America. And all based on one to two words in a slogan as opposed to actual platforms.

Re: Romey uses Nazi Slogan?

That's pathetic from you.  It goes back to the paranoid ridden attitude of the repigs on here, that anyone other than Obama will do.  You would not know a communist if you slept with one and the inference that Obama is one is truly demonstrative of the political ignorance you treasure.

And neither is Obama!

Re: Romey uses Nazi Slogan?

If we skip platforms (is anyone still stupid enough to believe that crap) and go straight to deeds we certainly have at least one fascist, maybe two.

You should put that on a bumper sticker.
