Re: Roundup......guilty

(...since ALL alcohols are rated as definitely carcinogenic.

Where is the outrage about alcohol consumption since that is taken internally by many people who would never come in contact with glyphosate.)

You omitted cigarettes, cigar's & cannabis - We have done a good job of reducing the use of cigarettes and cigar's, but for some reason we are promoting cannabis, maybe cannabis contains healthy carcinogens Smiley Wink

According to Webmd site:
But a recent review of studies on the effects of marijuana and tobacco smoke suggests that the cancer-promoting effects of these ingredients is increased by the tobacco in nicotine and reduced by the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) found in cannabis.

Re: Roundup......guilty

Well cheap, I've re read your post a couple more times, I will say, I can NOT smell glyphosate.

We used to have a neighbor who claimed she could, and it made her sick...she did die of cancer, but was diagnosed with cancer approx. 1965,

her brother was a classmate is the only way I can get that date.

You are NOT the only one who has or is going through drought AND health issues..I have been there, done that, so

like my dad would often say, if you are afraid of the sinking boat, get your thumb outa your azs and foot upon the gas!

lol about the opposites, what about the equator?

Re: Roundup......guilty

So now that you know the dangers of roundup you are still going to use the product. Why? Why endanger your life? Why endanger the lives of others? If the federal government is suppose to protect us why doesn't it immediately ban the product? If anyone continues to use the product and has ill effects the responsibility is on them and them alone. You now know the danger.

Some of their logic would be to sue GM, but let Toyota, Honda and Subaru off scott free.

Re: Roundup......guilty

The scientific evidence against glyphosate is very weak.

What does this say about our legal system?

Are any of us truly qualified to sit in judgment of complex technical and scientific questions?  No.

Emotion rules.

And, yes, we are utterly hypocritical in not aiming a marijuana, drunk driving and similar destructive practices that we like to do.

We know for sure the bottom line of this case will be an increase cots to the company which it will pass on and result in the increased price of food.  And, we'll pay more taxes for shoddy enforcement of more bad laws.  Etc.
