SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS

"This $3.5 trillion spending bill is in addition to the $1.5 trillion infrastructure bill that came from the Senate, and… she (pelosi) is using the $2 trillion budget package as the carrier for a slick “Deem and Pass” maneuver."

Re: SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS

Deficits from tax cuts are even less likely to pay for themselves.

Re: SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS

Before the crash, Trump did get the economy to limp along at almost 3 percent growth- a very expensive tax cut.

Re: SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS

At first I thought you were referring to how much Trump added to the deficit, although I think it was more.

Re: SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS

Sometimes this all begins to feel like taking candy away from 310 million developmentally delayed babies.

Forget about the Afghanistan evacuation’s Operation FUBAR, our collapsed southern border, the rising homicides & homelessness in our cities. Never mind about our stalled-out public schools for our bottom 50% kids, the growing inequality between the rich and middle class, the increasing household debt of the bottom 90%, and the government promised “transitory” inflation that isn’t. None of these things are that important.

Those with significant investment portfolios (a.k.a. America’s top 10%) and owners of rent producing properties are doing just fine right now. They showed us that you do not have to wear a uniform, apply for Obamacare, or even use Facebook/Twitter in order to make lots of money from the trillions of dollars of excess government spending.

So God bless America, Black Lives Matter, and down with the 74 million domestic terrorists who dared to vote for Donald J. Trump last year! Life is really good...so far, I guess.

Re: SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS

What exactly is clueless joebiden planning to do with the American economy, and will it be as big a ***** as his handling of the border crisis, the Afghanistan withdrawal, and covid?

That is what has me worried right now. Sitting on cash doesn't seem to be a good strategy, stocks seem overvalued (even as I try to buy value) and land at $10,000 per acre doesn't excite me.

But what is coming down the pike?

RS,

Okay, I gotta ask. Where are you getting farmland for ONLY $10K/acre?

All tethers to reality are gone.  All fields of endever are governed by politics.  Science, medicine, economics, finance all driven first and foremost by political considerations.  When it falls apart, and it will, everyone but the gilded elite will be ruined.

I found it encouraging

to see Packard admit to the FUBAR that our “mission” in Afghanistan became.

Thank God for someone ready to take full responsibility and do what the vast majority of Americans have wanted done for nearly 20 years.

Straw man yet again.

When you were cheering obama droning weddings and American citizens I said we need to get out of these places.
