Sam wants you to believe that % vaccinated makes no difference.
At the beginning of summer, Florida had 20 million people with a mix of high density urban & lower density rural and 40% vaccinated. New York had 20 million people with half "really" high density & half low density rural and 60% vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the latest surge, Florida has had 1,259,677 infections and 17,359 deaths for a 1.38% mortality rate.
New York, on the other hand, has had 325,342 infections and 1,931 deaths with a mortality rate of 0.58%.
So Florida has had 3.9 times more infections and 9.0 times more deaths.
And Sam still insists vaccinations make no difference?
