Sedition: stirring up of rebellion against the government

By trying to undermine the lawful election, making baseless fraud claims in the media without having the evidence to back them up in court, and refusing to begin the lawful transition of power, trump is getting dangerously close to sedition.

What's remarkable about this situation isn't how many Republican officials are standing up to trump's ploy but how few.  And it's not the prominent Republican politicians who are calling trump out but a few election officials and judges.   This episode has certainly revealed who among the Republicans have true political courage and who doesn't.

My guess is that all the prominent republican politicians are keeping their heads down and just waiting for trump to be gone.  I'm sure that two months from now, any number of them will be crowing about how they never really agreed with trump, how trump was a terrible mistake.   Count on it.

And Kamala Harris is raising money for their bail and legal bills. Barack H Obama's daughters marching with them. Same for Bill DeBlasio.

You don’t even know what you’re talking about.   It was a poor choice of words, used by those sick of police brutality, that were picked up by the Right whim attached a completely different meaning to it, than what was intended.   There are NO POLICE DEPARTMENTS ANYWHERE that are being defunded.   Yet you are trying to STILL push that narrative.

Republicans made a lot of hay this last election period, pushing that narrative that was totally false.   And you’re the only one still fool enough, to keep pushing it.

Replace “defund” with “reorganize”, because that is the reality of what is - at most - being proposed.   But you don’t want to hear that.   You want to keep pushing the fear mongering of what your thought of “defunding” the police means.   And it certainly isn’t what you keep insisting that police forces are going to be removed, and not replaced.   Your narrative is so wrong, and you know it.

Republicans can’t win an election, without fear mongering.

You are wrong again Karen. Many city councils in dem run cities have voted to totally or partially defund their city police forces. Now after a sky rocketing crime surge some or back pedaling. The goal remains the same. Replace local police with federal police.
