Government should not have any more involvement in business than is specified in the Constitution of the United States.

Anything else, is mirroring the actions of the National Socialistic Worker's Party (Nazi) that Herr Obama seems to push for.

Re: Should government

The government roll is to see that all are treated equal under the law.

Re: Should government

What;s amusing Craig is that if he suddenly wasn't working a hard has he obviously has been in favor of business and banking and started actually working more on some of the populist issues that matter to the people who elected him, you'd simply just be dropping out yellow-brown turds rather than dark-brown ones over it all. You have to make everythig up as he's not been doing any of what you say.

If you are really a Republican, really a conservative, really as anti-socialist as you say you are this has to be the best administration, policy wise, of your adult life. He's riding a rail much further to the right than any of his predecessors with the possible exception of the 1st Clinton term. Way, way to the right of Reagan and Bush 41.

....and you should have adored George W. Bush..... he was just the same as any democrat would have been....just about.   I had hoped that he would see the light, but other than defense.... not hardly.

I have said on here, it might actually be better if Zero gets in again, but next term with a two/thirds plus, veto proof Senate.... then Zero gets all the economy blame, and everything that he vetoes, gets overturned........rendering him powerless for four years.   Then in 2016 we get to elect a real Conservative to fix things right.

Re: Should government

You aren't going to elect anything, Craig. Your Republican goons blew it, big time! They tipped their hand to quick, they needed to wait one more election cycle, to strengthen their hand before taking on the Unions and middle class workers, but they got cocky and now their going pay a dear price. Buh-bye!

Re: Should government

Recent special elections are going to democrats. House seats mayoral seats & the approval rating s of Governors Walker Kasich, and Scott are all really poor. And these guys have only been in office a few months.

Hint: Your guys are doing the unexpected and the majority of the p0ublic aren't liking it.

Re: Should government

We have a growing and healing US auto industry that is recovering because Democrats decided to give them a hand to keep them afloat. Thousands if not millions of people in auto related companies that are on the job and working. I Know it troubles some of you to see union workers retaining their jobs. The fact is they are americans just like you and me and those working for decent wages and benefits are a big plus to the US economy.

Just consider the robust economy in the ag industry and what a positive it is for industry.  Same way for prosperous union workers as well.

Damm straight it is decent wages and benefits. Over $79.00 per hour's worth.

The taxpayers should be able to borrow some money from those union workers..... they are the ones with all of the money......that, and those retired farmers with 3 or 4 farms.   Working stiffs like me are trying to scrape a living out of the land we have, dealing with EPA regulations and other "greenie" crap your political friends hang around our necks.  Horse owners are stuck with worthless horses that they can not get rid of....unless they just shoot them in some state park somewhere.   The big liberal government supporters are the biggest cost that we have..... they are the enemy from within.

Re: Should government

My post was not about union workers. I wanted to see what people think the role of government should be toward business. I want government to get out of the way. Regulations are needed in a small way. Government needs to make it easy for businesses to expand if they want to. Not continually weigh them down with more burdensome regulation.
