The Union that represents film industry set workers says that a live round in a prop gun was responsbile for the death of one of their members, Ms. Hutchins.
Seemed likely- a stray piece of wadding doesn't go through one person and seriously wound another.
They said there were no members of their union in the crew- it was 100% local NM workers.
A lot of the state film incentive packages require hiring local workers.
