I might see it sometime on DVD to critique but won't go to a theater.

It reminds me of back in the day when porn movies were shown in certain sketchy theatres in bad parts of town. People would say, "if you go in there make sure you don't touch anything."

I like Wilborn, much more palatble than Colbert, Maher, Letterman.  The one vet on the panel says he signed up when "he say the towers fall" ...well the towers did fall, in the military your only question of the order to jump is "how high?".  Kyle was a good shot, did his job well, however wasn`t able to "compartmentalize" however survived up to getting killed by someone that he was trying to help. 

Sniper sounds like a good movie, I would hope that people do independent reading and not form opinions solely from a movie...it is somewhat based on Kyle`s book.   From what I hear the movie doesn`t make him out to be a saint either.  But if a kid or a nun picks up a gernade to throw at your fellow soldiers, you should kill them without a second thought and not lose a moment`s sleep over it...let God sort it out, you did your job.

Here is a take on the Sniper movie by a way out in Pluto veteran that calls himself as well as Kyle "cowards" in being in Iraq.   I do not agree with him, however it is a different angle to discuss.

Every day you are a frequent user of verbal violence toward other posters. You probably aren't even aware of the verbal abuse that you regularly spout off online. Much of which you wouldn't get by with in a real setting. Instead you flap your jaw like you are some brave warrior but instead you are a nameless coward taking potshots at most anybody.

I wonder if you regularly abuse your trophy spouse. Do you suppose she knows that she doesn't have to take it?
