Cold here in Central KS has well, wish I had a corn stove.
However I'm betting that the average year to date temperature is just slightly higher or warmer than the previous record high

Re: Snowstorms in Desert Southwest
Kinda like the recent Dennison Admin EPA report.
A neat two step pivot from denial to various other obfuscations.
Virtually all useful idiots were moved seamlessly on board.
Probably a function of the revelation that the fossil fuels industry knew all along but funded the denialist movement.
A tobacco magnitude lawsuit would dry up 90% of the funding of the wingershere.
And then......Venezuela!!!! and gun grabbin'.

Re: Snowstorms in Desert Southwest
Here is the definition of "climate", weather conditions measured over a long period of time. So what do you consider a long period of time? 10,000yrs? Iowa was mostly under a 1 mile sheet of ice back then.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate
Climate is the statistics of weather over long periods of time.[1][2] It is measured by assessing the patterns of variation in temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of time. Climate differs from weather, in that weather only describes the short-term conditions of these variables in a given region.
