So remember

The publics attitutde toward apartied in south africa. The boycots, corporations and universities refusing to do business there..  What I'm wondering is why does the exceptionally poor treatment of women across large portions of the world not garner a similar response?

Re: So remember

What happened to South Africa was the new world order just getting into the upper gear range.  Most of the idiots crying about South Africa in the 80`s weren`t even bright enough to find the continent of Africa on a globe, but it sure made them "feel good for caring", now white farmers are murdered as a result and it`s all forgotten...but by God "we cared aren`t we sooooo wonderful"

With women the new world communism doesn`t "care"  to save them from poor treatment doesn`t further the worldwide totalitarian goals.  In the new world, there probably will be a place for those that abuse women.   The Kardashian Krowd couldn`t care any less as long as the pen they go in everyday has "free corn".

It's because we live in the twilight zone.

Guess who is the number one violator of women’s rights in the world today? Israel. Violating the rights of Palestinian women.

At least that is the view of the UN’s top women’s rights body, the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). CSW ends its annual meeting on Friday, March 20 by condemning only one of the 193 UN member states for violating women’s rights – Israel.

Re: So remember

Women are treated pretty poorly in nations closely allied to the usa like saudi arabia yet the usa is pretty much silent.  Do you suppose we would be as silent if it was a race minority that was treated in such a way?

That's because women are not treated as they should be even here. Y'all keep trying to control their bodies, their choice, their sexual habits and their wages.
