Socialism, one side
I've talked to young people and they like socialism.
It's a curative for what they feel ails society. Perceived racism, inequity of wealth, health care would all be cured they think.
The "gifts" of socialism are all they talk about or think about.
What they and others never talk about or think about are the things socialism takes. Initiative, personal freedom, wealth, development, are all taken.

Re: Socialism, one side
Different than Maya`s poem. Sometimes the Caged Bird Sings because it`s grown accustomed to it`s imprisonment, feeder full, water dish, fresh newspapers to poop on. Who will one day fill the feeder and water and fresh newspapers once we are all "caged birds"?

So you are saying there is a problem in ag in the US.
Numbers published here are US ag income of $102.7B
From government 'subsidies/socialism' $37.2B or 36% of income from socialism.

Tiresome.
It's like people are stupid or have no knowledge of anything.
Gov farm programs are, like obamacare, fascistic not socialistic. Socialism is the public ownership of the means of production. Fascism is publicly directed but privately owned.
Fascism is really what you would call transitional socialism. The end goal is public ownership, but fascism is an accomplishable step on the way.

"Libertarian" private property absolutist are like Marxists.
Nice theory if you could just create a new form of human being.
I'm not sure if you're still mad at the township for making you take away the Volare that was sitting on blocks in your front yard, but basically I think people can be pretty well left alone if they want to be. But some folks have a chip on their shoulder and want to be victims.
