Re: Sour Grapes Newt

Newt's a fool, but I just don't get any warm fuzzies with Romney.  Newt, Romney, and Obama are all cut from the same cloth.  I can't believe this is the best we as a country can put forth.

We have been programmed to look to government for salvation for 70+ years. Takes a while to change. Newt, Perry, and Romney are old establishment big government progressives. Bachmann is not. Neither is Paul. Bachmann is not qualified, Paul is.

Re: Sour Grapes Newt

I don't live in Iowa and can't vote but am pulling for Ron Paul to win the primary there so you're not stepping on my toes by saying that our Shelley " isn't qualified", but I'd sure be interested as to on what criteria of your she is not.

Re: Sour Grapes Newt

Since the president can only do what instructed, isn't anyone beyond veggie qualified?

Re: Sour Grapes Newt

I believe that there is ample proof of that sittin' on a back porch whittlin'.

Too young and immature. The establishment will steamroll her.

Re: Errm......

Craig - he is not the enemy, not by a long shot.  In the eyes of the extremes on here, that is their interpretation because they have the lost the objectivity of the politic animal.  All politics in a democracy moves on the same road.  Occasionally they swerve to the left, then a change of government, then they swerve to the right.  Basically they keep going in the one direction.  It is dictatorships that go in circles and eventually up their own asses.

If find it intriguing how there is so much hatred towards Obama, on here.  He was left a shocking legacy of war and then the GFC. All the non thinkers then appeal he should do something, now, instantaneously.  To have rational thought the first requirement is a brain.   That is our first insurmountable hurdle.

Re: Sour Grapes Newt

And since you feel that the president is immaterial you'll certainly not bother voting, correct?

Re: Errm......

Gouch, he launched his political career in the living room of a domestic terrorist who bombed several federal buildings and the pentagon. People were killed. The terrorist is named Bill Ayers and on 9-11-01 he had an op ed in the New York Times saying he was proud of his terrorist activities and wished he would have done more. Their objective was the over throw of the US government and our Financial system. How can you be so sure Obama is not an enemy?

Re: Sour Grapes Newt

Naw. Everyoneceinawhile some bill on an important periphrial issue slips past the Copngress and needs to be signed or vetoed so there is still some value in voting.

In fact, that's why most people vote.  If it were for reasons of economic growth or national defense exclusively the greater masses would have capitulated to some autocratic form long ago.
