It is a delicate situation because you will be immediately deported to South Africa if you are caught. It would be better to take the tests in Mexico and pass without problems in the USA than take risks. I'm glad that there are no problems with land borders in Europe, and we could travel by train https://www.oebbfahrplan.com/de/ without problems. However, vaccination or testing is now required everywhere if you are not vaccinated, and the strictest inspection is done at airports. I hope you have solved the problem somehow. Good luck.
I know it. And personally, I don't see any sense. I wanted to visit Africa on my honeymoon. But when I was told how many flights I had to get to arrive there, my decision changed. I had to fly to Mexico. From there I had to take a plane to Europe. From there to Egypt. And only from there could I go where I needed. So we decided to choose something from https://honeymoongoals.com and went to Miami instead. And we only took one flight, for about two three hours. And I felt exhausted. I can imagine getting on four flights, flying for days. I'm glad I didn't go.
I wonder how they plan to cross the border unnoticed? Don't they understand that they can be deported if they are caught? Or, if they do, they will be caught right away in the closest state. In Louisiana, there is a medium safety risk, as I know. It means that the police work well. How could anyone not think about the consequences of doing something like that? I got that they may not have such a wonderful life as we do, but there is a chance to make official documents and enter without any risks. And then live and work as a full-fledged citizen. There are jobs, enough for everyone, they are welcomed as long as they pay taxes.
Unfortunately, covid has become an obstacle to travel. I often flew from Mexico to South Africa when I was one of the wildlife aid volunteers. Now I'm thinking about going on a bird-watching tour at www.CostaRicaFocus.com cause my daughter has long dreamed of seeing the bluebird from the fairy tale she read as a child.
