Student debt
Just to be clear, there is no plan to eliminate student debt.
There is a plan to transfer the debt to those who don’t owe it.

Re: Student debt
What about the $180,000 that Taylor Greenes construction company got 'forgiven '?
Did she vote in favour of that and against forgiving a puny few thousand to a student?

If a student can't pay his student loan he can't afford a $60,000 electric car.

Re: Student debt
Although I am far from certain in posting this, I think this entire Biden college debt forgiveness stunt will eventually get overridden by the courts for being patently unconstitutional. Even Obama and Biden appointed judges will not have trouble in deciding the question of whether a POTUS has the authority or discretion to spend non appropriated federal money (i.e. forgive legitimate contractual debt) like this.
Then again, no final judicial decision is likely before the November elections, so maybe that is the greater point...if you are Biden or a Democrat running for office.
Otherwise, enjoy the illusion of your free money while it lasts kids. What President Joe Biden has so easily giveth, the courts will likely act to taketh it all away.

Re: Student debt
Possible. I think IF the student debt forgiveness gets overridden, the ones who file for and receive forgiveness in the meantime will still not owe anything, UNLESS there is some special wording or warning about that contained in both the application and approval of the forgiveness.
