Re: Such a shame that Mitt didn't win

So you were only 13 in 2000 then? Missed 2 chances to do what you say here you'd like to do?  We had one for 8 years that was propelled into office by the reactionary Christian mainstream.  Who claimed to talk to God on a daily basis, A conservative

Methodist (is that mainstream enough for you?).  Who wore his Chritianity heavy on is sleeve. What a joke you have become.

And for being only 27 or so then, you've built quite a life for yourself.  How old were you when you took firm hold and lifted up on those bootstraps and started building your little empire?  Confirms, maybe then, that it was likely before the chord was dry.

About as believable as your shallow inference the other dayto having moved into a different major watershed.

Don't forget that the greatest concentration of porn is in Utah.

Nothing like a bit of illicit slap and tickle under the sheets on those cold nights in Utah by those multiple marriage junkies.

All in the name of Jesus of course. What else. Perish the thought they just loves lots of naughty sex. Tartuffe is the word which comes to mind.

just for clarification...

Boris, are you referring to the Reagan that never went to church, or..

to the Reagan that never, in eight years, ever submitted a single balanced budget to Congress?

Re: just for clarification...

Clarification on where you live, or on who was elected President in 2000?  You are right about Reagan not being a thumper, but he "went along" also.  But in no way to the degree to the little feller who was elected in 2000 did,  But if the math works and your claim is true then  you were born durng the Reagan administratiion.

Along with everything else you didn't do obtuse very well.

GWB a conservative?????

I have been putting a lot of hours and miles in, and missed the date that you referenced, thinking that no way, no how , would anyone consider Junior a conservative, with his liberal spending, and his head first plunge into wars of choice. Between his deficits, his liberal wife ,daughters, mother, etc etc...his supreme court appointments( remember who saved Obama's bacon??? ROberts????)  and attempted appointments ( remember Harriet Myers?????), his expanision of Medicare...interfernce in local schools .....where would you start or stop??? Spending money like a drunken sailor?????

That boy is one of yours, pal. Claim him.

capital B + capital S.

He is you and yours,  someone kept voting for the putz and I know it was not the lefties. Heck, back then, Milligan and the likes of him carried so much water for him that they would have made a semi tanker jealous.

NOPE - he is yours !

The doofus won majorities

A good many of the 47% must have been voting for more free stuff, ala Bush Jr.

One thing about Junior, though, even as an addled ex-drunk, he did seem to believe in private property, gun rights, and free enterprise.

His problem was the liberal view that America can change the world, and he was saddled with a congress that gets elected by playing Santa Claus and doling out goodies.

So, RJG, how is your business doing these days?
