THE LETTER TO IRAN

This is worse than Jane Fonda going to Hanoi. Jane fonda was a private citizen not a US senator.  I think some of you still despise jane fonda 40 years later.

Tom Cotton told iran to go screw themselves. Jane fonda went there to let the enemy screw her.

Re: THE LETTER TO IRAN

The Senate`s letter was against Iran, are you saying that "Iran is our friend and Israel is the equivalent to North Vietnam"???????

But let`s look at this "letter" a minute, all I thought that it did was the senate reminded Iran that any deal they make with Obama will only last as long as the Obama presidency.   Isn`t that the truth? Should the senate lie to Iran and they build all kinds of bombs, thinking that they have some 100 year agreement, only to have President Lindsey Graham overturn it Janurary 20, 2017??   That actually could start a war, honesty is the best policy even if it means no deal.

You really believe that? Did you learn that in your bum**bleep**egypt high school you went to? Was that in Ioway? The Senate NOT the House have the right/authority to negotiate/engage a foreign power. That authority lies solely with the Executive branch!

Re: THE LETTER TO IRAN

Don`t know what you`re talking about, so i`ll repeat.  The next president a Republican or pro Israel Democrat may very well repeal whatever deal that Obama makes with Iran...Janurary 20, 2017 is Obama`s last day, the senate was merely pointing that FACT out.

Bull Pucky....this was a thumb in the eye to the Pres...its interesting how they tout the phrase "With a stroke of a pen it can be undone"....so these treasonous baztards like the use of the POTUS pen but only when the fingers wrapped around it is Republican...

You R clowns are so easy to see thru...watching you all being jerked around by your puppet strings...if your party doesn't get it together 2016 is gonna be ugly for the Rs from sea to shining sea...LOL

Re: THE LETTER TO IRAN

About the Hanoi Jane thing, well, they wish.

The truth is that throughout the bitter and divisive debate over Vietnam the anti-war faction in Congress, majority Dems but some prominent Repubs as well, was almost universally a loyal opposition that respected the Constitutional authority of both Presidents.

In the Limbaugh/O'Reilly culture wars version, they were all Hanoi Janes.

That's actually some of the background to what I said- people whose whole being is now wrapped up in their identity group that is based on American exceptionalism and by proxy their own, can't possibly see treason in the mirror.  Although they can see it everywhere else.
