Re: THE LETTER TO IRAN

There was ONLY one reason for the letter! That was to try to cause the current negotiations to fail. That is it. Nothing else. The bs about going through Congressis just an excusebecause the presidentdoesn't have to do anything at this point but negotiate with Iran. You guys here all want us to, ask craigy said many times over the past few years, "Turn the MiddleEast into glass!" You want a war with those evil muslims but you want someone else to fight it. NowTHAT is REAL honor and valor!!

Bronze star recipient Tom Cotton a Veteran in the middle east wars in both iraq and afganisatn, both of which iran suppilied man power and materials for the enemies of the United Sates, authored a letter signed by 46 other US Senators informing the dictatorship of iran that we are not ruled by a dictator and if they enter into an agreement with the United States of American it must also be ratified by their elected Senators for it to be valid. They informed the dictator of iran our President does not have the power to sell out the citizens of the United States of American in the same way the dictator of iran can sell out his subjects to his every whim. The President does not have more flexibility since his last election as he would like to think. We are a government of the people not a government of the emporer or dictator as our current president and the rulers of iran like to think.

Re: THE LETTER TO IRAN

Where upon reading the letter, the young freshman senator was schooledin our Constitution by the Ayatollah. You see Congress has NO authority to negotiate anything. That is the solely done by the executive branch and this letter sought to undermine that authority. You can keep on believing what you want but they stepped on their ponchos this time bub!

The letter was not a letter of negotiation, it was a statement of fact. Obama is trying to overstep his authority to make a near treasonist deal with a terrorist dictator and the letter was to inform the terrorist dictator our President does not have a right to negotiate a deal that puts our enemies at a greater advantage

You clearly have a strong grasp of the meaning of diplomacy and avoidance of war. Stick to your bible and leave the saving of another 5000 marine lives to Obama.

Which means what? Obama hasn't had any discussions with the military industrial complex? Nothing but another strawman.
