Given the right conditions it could have happened anywhere just as the so called 'Spanish Flu' was probably originated in the US but because your leadership at that time kept it quiet it spread to Europe and the rest of the world with US troops 

The infected person with no known contacts is an indication that there are other cases in the general population but with few tests being done in your country they go undetected until someone gets really sick.

Your bigotry is like the people who will not associate with a person with asian characteristics even though there family has lived in North America for generations. That is ignorance and is encouraged by the thinking of you present leadership.

That`s different altogether 100 yrs ago.  Here in 2020 it`s the Covid-19 is on the plate which originated in China like most if not all flu viruses.  China is the petri dish of the world, shouldn`t they be held accountable for something?

Actually the spanish flu progressed in 3 waves.  The initial, where ever it originated, was no worse than the regular flu.  Speculation is it mutated in the trenches and became a much more dangerous pathogen. Look it up.

Saw someone say this looked at first as it was going to be Dennison’s Katrina, which was really rather untenable and everybody could realistically see that. And W dumped Brownie once it started to look like a serious political liability.

Instead, this bunch took the WMD route, from which the W’s never recovered.
