forget the math guys.   iIt is about  the affect of paying taxes on a taxpayers ability to meet the day to day expenses of living in America.

 

Of course taxes have much more affect on your daily life the less income you have.  Common sense needs to prevail and let go of the numbers.

What you have to understand is that when people say the tax rate is 35%, is that NO ONE pays that amount, not even on part of their income.  Historically, the lower income have always paid a much lower % on the RATE but a much higher % of their disposable income than the high rollers.  Most of us would just like the deductions to level out some so that the high rollers would have to pay more closely to their tax rate bracket.
