Texans Deserve Their Misery
Misery results when you allow knuckle-dragging Republicans to control your government.
Texas is the largest energy producing state, and it is freezing to death! Got that??? But old numbskull Gov. Perry said "Texans would be without electricity for longer than three days to keep the federal government out of their business."
And here is a perfect Repub response to the crisis: Tim Boyd, the mayor of Colorado City, Texas, said "City and County, along with power providers or any other service owes you NOTHING!" and people who wanted the power turned back on were "lazy" and "looking for a damn hand out!"
Got That? You pay taxes and the Repub govt owes you nothing!!!!

Didn't say a peep when liberal government officials were allowing blm'ers and anteefers to riot, loot, burn & destroy their private businesses and federal buildings; didn't say a peep when liberal government officials were forcing private citizen tax payers businesses closed due to covid and ruining their livelihoods; didn't say a peep during the forest fires that raged due to liberal government officials ineptitude; didn't say a peep when fredo's brother was killing the elderly and the ms/l media hailing him a hero......but a natural disaster in a Republican state and sellerbe finally opens his pie-hole.
Here's your "I sellerbe am a proud
hypocrite HYPOCRAT" T-Shirt.
Re: FEMA, ...
Biden activated FEMA before Abbott even asked but even FEMA has to have some state participation. When you have a state government like Texas that bound & determined to do nothing, even FEMA can't help.
Re: No, the most of the people of Texas don't deserve ...
No, most of the people of Texas don't deserve to suffer this misery, particularly the poorest and weakest. The fact is, they have been repeatedly and continually lied to by their politicians about the role of government and the real obligations a government owes to its citizens.
Let's all hope they learn from this and make better choices in their elected officials when this is over.
