Rick, I don`t have the percentages in front of me, but probably 80% would be okay for a woman to choose abortion in cases of rape, incest and mother`s life.  Possibly a majority would favor up to 16 weeks which would mirror the progressive European countries.  This abortion all the way up to and including partial birth turns the majority off, even some of the most hard hearted Democrats. 

The pro choice movement used to be all about "make abortion safe, legal and RARE" that is no longer the Democrat battle cry.
