The Don is back

I see Donald Trump will be the moderator at the Repub's final debate here in Iowa before the state's caucuses take place.  I'm curious who's idea this was and why.  Trump's to get more of the attention he seems to always crave?   The media covering the debate to try and boost ratings?   Repubs to try and get more people to watch?

For some reason I always get that same bad taste in my mouth when watching and listening to Trump as I did with Don King.

The Biggest Loser

Check out his actual history of wheelin' & dealin'. Not too good. A little old lady in Atlantic City got some two-cent lawyer to sue The Donald and won. $10-million plus legal fees. Tried to use eminent domain to seize her house and lost. He knows how to make a small fortune, start with Daddy's large fortune. Of course as the king of bankruptcy, maybe he is The One to lead us from the wilderness.

For my way of thinking, all the Donald is going to do is add to the circus atmosphere, that already exists in the Republican dog and pony show, called a "primary". What do you think he's going to add to the fracas?

Must be the holiday spirit GTO but we are once again in agreement.  Hard for me to take the debate serious when they bring the Don as moderator.

Papa, did you see the interview with the Don several months back when he was still toying with the idea of running for prez?  He was touting his superior business skills that he possessed and that he claimed Obama was lacking when the interviewer mentioned how Trump Casino had twice gone bankrupt while he was CEO.  Trump defended himself by saying that he was not running it or making the decisions and was just a figure head.  I guess the buck don't stop there.

If these guys can't do an interview with Trump without allowing it to turn into a circus how can they have an meeting Putin?

Re: The Biggest Loser

The Donald has 2 redeeming qualities.

1) he is entertaining

2) he doesn't back down

Other than that, he is kind of a 'celebrity princess' who craves the attention.

Re: The Don is back

Who's idea? Dag, I'm guessing the idea is the Donald's. He loves it in the limelight and like the apprentice, he will probably try to fire Ron Paul or some one that he dislikes.  What amazes me is all the candidates the suck up to the jackass.

KUDOS to Ron Paul for refusing to play his game. Ron Paul is not one to shy from a debate but giving an ounce of credibility to Trump is too much.

You had better read about how tucked tail and ran when the widow lady in AC cleaned his clock. He backpedals more than an NFL cornerback.

Re: The Don is back

The weird part is Trump cut and ran on Iowa Repubs earlier this year when he backed out of a fund raiser at the last second causing it to be canceled yet they will now have him as moderator????
