The House GOP, so much for the party of the working man

It always amazes me how easily the minions fall for the republicans' line about how "we're for the poor working stiff" and then the first thing they do is put forward & pass bills like this (https://www.politico.com/news/2023/01/27/house-passes-oil-stockpile-bill-00079877) which clearly is intended to raise the price of gasoline for the benefit of the oil industry or this (https://www.verifythis.com/article/news/verify/taxes-verify/house-gop-bill-create-national-sales-tax...) which is clearly intended to overwhelmingly shift the tax burden on the poor & middle class.

The republicans say, "we'll be sure to let you keep your guns and blame your lot in life on immigrants but we be sure to steal you blind at the same time."

The oil reserve is for times of war and natural disasters. Not a fix for stupid leadership. But of course, you're ok with it to save your slime ball party of queers.

Re: "Times of war", yeah, right a**hole.

And Biden isn't the only one releasing oil, by a long shot.

Energy.gov quote: U.S. and 30 Countries Commit to Release 60 Million Barrels of Oil From Strategic Reserves to Stabilize Global Energy Markets.

War is as much about economics as it is about weapons & armies.  The strategic oil reserve is a legitimate defensive use of an economic weapon.   Only a stupid idiot or someone with an agenda would deny it.  Either you are one of the stupidest people alive or you've got an ulterior motive to say such ridiculous things. By now it's obvious to everybody that in your case it's both.

Now that is what you get when on day one you shut down production isn't it.

And I should add putting queers in charge of making decisions.

Funny how dems now admit that an increase in supply can lower prices. What happens when the reserve is gone? We lose a huge advantage we have if there is global war.
