Re: Economic opportunity for Kansas!

Women's clinics in Kansas report their phone is ringing off the hook mostly from Texas!  Ordinarily, Kansas with a population of 3 M would see maybe 15,000 abortions per year.  Now with women from Texas, Louisana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas all needing medical care, we're talking another 236,000.

At an average of $500 each, that's $120 million, plus transportation, meals, and lodging.

Re: Oh Ed, don't you worry about your profit.

Currently, the average annual welfare cost to the taxpayer per child, local, state, & federal is about $35,000 per year, that's $630,000 for 18 years at the current rate.

Figure on at least 500,000 extra welfare children per year, that works out to another $315 billion per year you anti-choice fanatics are going to have to come up with.  Better start saving up now Ed.

So trickyDick you want to kill 500,000 unborn innocent children just to save money but have zero problem with twice that many ILLEGAL aliens entering the country at a much higher cost. Dem hypocrats always put the American citizen last.

I don't know if your number's are anywhere close to accurate as you are rick schiff, but your saying that every unborn child that is killed is killed by people that cannot afford to raise them?  Get's pretty expensive to the tax payer to keep many elderly folks alive as well, you want to kill them too?

(anti-choice)

What are the choices there ricki schiff? What a wimpy word, to wimpy to say pro-death or pro-life.  Your a pro-deather, shout it loud & proud.

Re: "Killed by people that cannot afford to raise them?"

Yep, that's what I'm saying, currently, 75% of abortion patients are poor or low-income, and 60% already have one child.  By definition, a family unit of two is low-income if they make less than $27,000.

Ed, all your moral outrage isn't going to change the facts, states with abortion bans are going to see a significant increase in the number of poor children. Children that poor women are ill-equipped to raise, and push these already poor women further behind.

Now, for years liberal blue states have been voting for and paying for these poor children in Blue states and red states alike but that's going to change.  The taxpayers in Blue states are going to look at these enormous new costs concentrated in red states and lose patience.  They're going to say, "you red staters brought this on yourselves, you pay for it.

So just get your wallet out and get ready.

Re: Notice Ed, she's got her back turned to you and your retched pomposity.

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
