The point I am making is the wages are set at a minimum to begin with but very few people take or get it. In the case of professionals say, a plumber would not take less than 50 per hour on wages. His offsider shovelling sh it would not start for less than 25 plus.
This country progressed exponentially after the sharers strike of the early 1900's when they refused to work without decent compensation. Basic awards came immediately and improved ever since. I also want to add my grandfather spent 3 days in prison with his colleagues for opposing
the disgusting conditions at the time. For that I am immensely proud of him. He served his fellow very well.
Doctors get a government minimum allowance under Medicare for their service but there is still the socialist trained thieves who work outside the system, charge what they like if they can get it and usually do. You must understand anything is available under Medicare if you are prepared to wait a bit. People on pensions of any type get medicine of any type virtually for a token amount to the chemist for the government.
I know this would all be abhorrent to you capitalists but you have been weaned onto it and frightened to leave. Other services like fireman,etc are all trained by the government under that shocking "socialist" system. Surprise, surprise, just like your system. But you don't want to know that
Basically, your country with such huge poverty is more socialist than ours because of that. No modern western society cannot start or exist without it. Now, I know you won't acknowledge that but it is true even in your country. Private medicine in your country is sustained through graft and corruption at the highest levels and you suckers are paying for it.
Jobs all have a classification of course but the starting wages gives them an opportunity to live like a human not a dog. It is not regimented totally but people want something to live on not fresh and good luck. I have seen elsewhere where someone would ask advice on what to pay someone for a certain job. That is code for I don't want to pay him anything-but my conscience won't let. You guys think that is normal but that system is entrenched in the capitalist system and why you have so many unfortunate. You don't do that here or you will be in court quickly.
So, mumbling to yourselves about how we will go broke because of our generous system does not include that this country is the envy of the rest of the world because of your GFC. We owe something like 6 per cent of GDP after financing the crunch with all our benefits still in tact. Jobs have not had wage cuts or mass sackings everywhere.
Think about it if you can. THIS is the greatest country on earth by far and that includes yours. If those Mexicans could swim they would all be here.
