Before I opened it I had this tought that maybe we were simply intending to be forthright this time and pay cash for the Iran War.

Hummmmmm, the Iraq war is over but the out of control spending continues. Proves the infinite number of rat holes that need to be tamped.

Are you saying that the particular wing of the greater GOP that most closely represents your views and is your guiding organ for your political actiivity doesn't want war with Iran, the sooner the better?

If not than you are then  the most perfect personification possible of the conumdrum that your party faces.  Your ballot for President will be blank on the right side.

THANK YOU, GEORGE!

Re: The White House plans to ask Congress for an increase in the debt limit

What war did we spend money on?  Iraq and Afghanistan have gone on the VISA and American Express.

Who is it that we spent for a war on or with the that "still" has the bomb.?  Pakistan does.  China does,  No. Korea does,  Israeal does.  France does.  Russia does.  I can't remember even being in a war with any of those nations, much less paying for it.

What are you talking about?

Iraq war is over yet Obama needs another 1.2 trillion in debt. Why?

Sincerly sorry that you didn't detect the satirical tone in my initial response to Sam.

Didn't mean fo rit to come to this, but you kept tugging on the chain.

Oh and BTW.....

....yes it's over.

But, did somebody cancel the debt incurred, albeit most of it off the books and much of it unaccounted for as pertains to private contractors, or is it still on the books?

Maybe they want to pay some of it off.  Or at least service the interest.
