The elite's play ground
We will take your ball away from you and then you will shut up and go home.
‘This is our playground.’ That’s how the elite views this and the fact that these apps were re-wired so that the only moves one could make would lead to the stock price tanking, which is what the hedge funds want, is beyond transparent. The system is rigged. For everyone wondering why populism is rising, how Trump became a political sensation so quickly—here’s your answer. The normal folks got robbed yesterday—literally. They were told what they can and cannot buy. That’s outrageous.
Portnoy was invited on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson’s show and laid into them. It’s only an issue when the elite eats pavement on their bets, right? He’s very adamant that what happened yesterday was criminal, and that people have to go to jail. He also zeroed in on the one political alliance, albeit temporary, that shows how messed up this situation has become: Donald Trump Jr. and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) agree on this issue.
There is nothing illegal about what the Reddit crew was doing. They were betting just like the billionaires—and they were beating them at their own game. That’s the difference. This is a limited club. They don’t want the bumpkins coming in, so something appears to have gone down to slow the roll. They know they can get away with it. The good news is that these folks aren’t going away and while a lot of people lost money yesterday—they’re gearing up for another run.

Re: The elite's play ground
Sooooo....it’s the right view now this morning since you can reference it from the RW press.
Nothing changed overnight.
Here’s one of the better commentators who comes out of the populist left who has suddenly found a bit of favor across the aisle.
He agrees with them, and you for all practical purposes, but......he’s not a dependable RW shill so, per usual, after you DON’T read it you can tell us what’s default wrong with it.

Hey 3020. Robinhood is like those that hosted Parler and then "deplatformed" them, politicians wash their hands, they like censorship and stomping on the little investor, but can say "Hey, we don`t have oversight over that!".
Bruce and Nox can secretly cheer for the elites and out of the other side of their mouth "Re-read it! Re-read it! The government has nothing to do with it" . If Robinhood denied Blacks and Gays from trading...THEN, OMG then the government would be involved and be down on them like 20 miles of bad road.

Re: The elite's play ground
It's your view that has changed from yesterday Bruce not mine. The rich are taking care of the rich. The elites are taking care of the elites. The dems are taking care of the dems.......but then I reap myself. The Hamptons will win. Guaranteed.

Re: The elite's play ground
Follow the money!
Specifically, follow Joe Biden’s campaign donor money from Wall Street, K Street, and Silicon Valley. Then watch closely how Biden, Janet Yellen, and Jerome Powell all respond to the different short squeezes as they occur.
RobinHood, Ameritrade, and Schwab all shutting down the purchasing (but notably, not the selling) of GameStop yesterday looks suspiciously like a deliberate gambit to allow the billionaire hedge fund short sellers to get off the train before it fell into the canyon.
The questions I have today is what was Citadel’s interest in doing a $2 billion bail out of Melvin and RobinHood? Was it fear or greed on the part of Citadel that motivated such an enormous loan?
Also, who, if anyone did the RobinHood CEO named Vlad talk to at Citadel, Melvin, the SEC, Ameritrade, Schwab, or the Biden Administration that may have informed his decision yesterday to shut down any new buying of GameStop.
Follow the money, but trust no one source for what has occurred in this latest Wall Street event.

Re: The elite's play ground
There at some point the argument made that "Those hedge fund shorters were only doing it for YOUR 401K and pore teacher`s Ipers. But if you want to hurt those little people oooooookay". But when these blood suckers short 140% of a company and grind it into bankruptcy that is unethical, no matter how many "pore little people you claim to advantage as you drive your Lamborghini trading on your blue tooth, lighting Cubans with $100 bills and Playmate 2013 is in the passenger seat.
Shorting can be a "tool" or a "murder weapon" in the wrong hands, just like a clawhammer. Seems to me groups like the Reddit group keep the guard rails on, so long as there`s no interference. Or else call it what it is a mafia run casino and traders beware.
