The left's newest rock star
Won't surprise me if some time down the road the guy ends up a college professor teaching human rights.

Rolling Stone is stirring up controversy with its new cover.
The August issue of the music magazine features a photo of Boston Marathon bombings suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover.

Noted "left" leaning media personality...
....on an organ of the "left" feels much as you do. As do I.:

I'm a long time Rolling Stone reader and am deeply dissapoionted by this. It's not a left leaning paper, as you seem to imply. It's freindly to the general counter culture and a pop/entertainment scene that I'm sure your provincialism finds you offended by, for sure, but that doesn't necessarilly imply leftist leanings. If you are familiar with the work of Matt Tiabbi, he's as genuinelly conserviative as they come on the issues he reports and comments on.
Please watch it.
