The moral bankruptcy of Russia

Putin's government, with the help of his buddy Prigozhin has emptied Russian prisons to get enough cannon fodder to stop the Ukrainian counterattack.  The deal is, if a convict can survive six months of combat, his remaining sentence is forgiven.

But if you look at this deal from an ethical and moral standpoint, you can see it has serious problems.  First, from the perspective of the convict, it amounts to little more than trading his remaining sentence in return for murdering Ukrainians.  From the standpoint of the Russian government, it amounts to coercing its citizen to murder a citizen of another country in exchange for reducing the sentence for a capital crime.  Either way you look at it, it's immoral.

I just stated that I have moral qualms about trading an anti-American druggie for the merchant of death....so back at you you & your boys putin & biden.

I also have moral qualms about biden allowing fentanyl and human smuggling to freely come across our southern border that is contributing to rape & death - biden & putin could care less about this, how about you there "moral qualms" ricki schiff?

Re: Ed, Depraved.

Yes, that nicely sums it up.

Re: Ed, Depraved.

I think that he’s convinced that somebody is watching that can get him free refills on everything that kept him propped up ‘til now.

Whomever  that might be ain’t coming through.  Somebody with that kind of power wouldn’t be that careless…or wasteful. They’d have expected you to catch on on your own.
