big time as Trump throws Haley under the bus and backs away from more Russian sanctions.

Talk is that Pence and Haley might challenge Trump as a ticket in the primary in 2020. No doubt all sorts of secret murmurings going on as far as how to save the GOP.

My thinking is that it won't work- the GOP brand will be too toxic with too many segments by then.

Either way, I would be willing to place a very large straight up bet that whoever is inaugurated in 2021, it won't be Trump.

I think that was more about destroying facilities without killing people.

In regard to Stormy, I'll admit I don't much care about any of this issue except for the source of the funds to pay her.  If government or campaign funds were used to pay off Stormy, then we should all have a problem with that.  Paying her was stupid, would have had no impact on the election, in my opinion, Trump had already weathered much worse.  Then you have the alleged threat to Stormy 7 or so years ago, which apparently wasn't reported to police, or at least not followed up on.  And now, a supposed sketch of the guy who perpetrated the alleged threat 7 years ago -- like we're supposed to believe that Stormy can recall sufficient detail from 7 years ago for a sketch artist to draw his face?  Bottom line for me -- Stormy is about the notoriety and money, just because Trump is now President.  Why do you think she became a "porn star"?  Easy money, no morals.

But I am reminded of something I was told once which has proven out pretty well for me. The guy was a very colorful fellow who had made a living in the farm equipment business for more than 50 years.

I asked him what to make about doing business with people who wear their religion on their sleeves. He said that's an interesting question- some of the finest people you'll ever meet and some of the biggest crooks- in general, be on guard but don't jump to conclusions either.

There seems to be an almost daily stream of stories regarding the misconduct of some moral majority type politician or religious figure. I'd say the same rule of thumb applies.

In fairness, Trump never really claimed to have any religious core- his backers did that for him, given the urgency of their agenda.

That is an interesting point which brought back a memory for me as a young fellow many years ago doing a little part time work at a machinery dealer.

Owner/salesman etc. had a customer come in that I recognized as the big operator with the religious signs on his farms praising his god.

When the customer left the owner came back where we were working and said 'got rid of him, priced it so high he will not be back. You can not make any money off him because he will find some way to steal something from you.'

Seems strange to me that the left can`t do enough to prop this lady up.......meanwhile degrading and throwing mud at God and church.....seems to speak for itself....
