Re: The positives versus the negatives

For some reason it is so important to the righties to keep wages low. MY Gawd even some other workers might get a raise. Wouldn't that be a catastrophe?

A rising tide raises all ships, so they say." But not if I have anything to say about it" sez the righties.

Any state can raise their minimum wage to any level they desire any time they desire. Why do these dem state governors and legislature not raise their state minimum wages to a level where their state citizens can afford to live? Why do they hate the poor and sell out to the rich corps? If they can set up an Obama care website why can';t they pay the people who run it a living wage?

Re: The positives versus the negatives

You know what the Oklahoma legislature did. Not only did the vote down a minimum wage increase but them made it illegal for individual cities to raise the rates in their towns.  I think Seattle is pushing for a $15 per hour rate.

I don't understand why business thinks they are owed cheap labor and that labor has no say in the matter. I would advocate a national strike and bring them to their senses.

I'm sure you've been told this before and ignored it then as you will now, but, many of us don't believe the federal government should be the decider.

One thing, I'd do, is get the hell out of Oklahoma! Let the poor basterds figure out how they can keep their lousy state afloat.

Exactly right GTO, get out of Oklahoma and move to Seattle. Why have the progressives there not already raised their minimum wage to $15/hr? Same goes for California and the rest of the dem controlled states, why have not all raised their minimum wage to $15/hr. Why do they continue with trickle down? Why do they hate workers and keep selling out to the big Corps? Every one of those states could raise their minimum wage to $15/ by the end of the month but some how believe the employers there are entitled to cheap almost slave labor. Sick basterds.

Re: The positives versus the negatives

Of course not. You worship at the altar of capitalism where supply demand is the decider. To hell with the underpaid or undwer employed because you want to live by the rule that the winners take all.

There is nothing in the constitution that mentions capitalism and that the strong get to devour the weak or enslave them. Your religion may well be the gospel but we know full well that your real goal is to keep the little folks down.

If christians are such devout believers in the faith, why in the world are so many of them assholes?
