The problem with our economy is over spending

How many times have you heard that? The truth is there is not enough spending to create the demand for goods and services to fuel a robust economy. Those that can't spend buylittle and those that can spend are wary of perting with their dollars. How are we going to spur the rcovery with out people with spendable income?

WE are not just going to wake up one day and have a population with cash in their pockets. How do we change the economic environment without some catylist to get things moving?

Brilliant - Harvard and the likes would be bursting at the seams to get you to join the international speaking circuit. And you tell us you run 3 companies - you couldn't run guts at an abbattoir.

Re: your childish rant

the subject was economics--guess you dont know enough to discuss but do you have to post your low IQ everytime??? man i love this game --read the 2 posts and find why i run companies and you just run

Re: your childish rant

Not really,  I appears ironic how you continue to mention economics when it is the lowest point in your life.  You couldn't run a choko vine over a $hithouse.  I don't know how you could establish anyones IQ when starting from a point below the ground in the first place.   This forum does not permit me to space to explain why you guys are in the current situation and those with the understanding of economics know already.  As for you - to do so would be a waste of space and time.  The pygmy intellect you possess would have trouble stimulating any nuerons which were left.

Re: are all aussies jealous

as  you--because you must be a failure just by the way you post and try to spell curse words --bet your family is proud --and by the way we just created another job in one of our operations--wonder what you have done to help the economy

Re: are all aussies jealous

Listen up fool.  You are a mental cul-de-sac with a limited exit.  Why would aussies be jealous when our net debt is 6 per cent of GDP after having no debt at all prior to your home made WFC/ Why are big US investors pouring money into Australia and regarding our shores as being a very safe bet?  Why is our dollar now well above the price of a US dollar?  Because the smart guys are looking at the the Oz economy with "jealousy".

Now,  for the sake of all the idiots on here and Hawken Cougar who seems to have trouble grasping the fundamentals of an economy, get a bit of that up yah and sit up and listen.   Don't tell me about "the greatest country on earth" ,  Liberty and Freedom.

If you have all the answers, nominate for president.  On second thoughts, drop that idea. It could only get worse.

If we can get a way to get the CONSUMERS to buy stuff, instead of trying to make it up with Gov't spending, we'd have the problem licked.  If you know of a way to do it, let me know.  I'll be in eternal admiration, because getting anything done in this political climate is a living nightmare.

It's called JOBS! Something the Republicans have no clue about how to do it, otherwise Dubya wouldn't have been hemorrhaging jobs on his watch, would he? But he was. Trickle down is a bad joke, on the American people. It's time to give it up, it didn't work, it won't work, it's bad policy.
