They call Trump a dictator

New York city just officially voted to voided the US Constitutional first amendment God give right to free speech. All that is needed is the mayor's signature.

The New York City Council announced on Thursday that it will no longer allow the “dehumanizing” and “offensive term” “alien” or “illegal immigrant” to describe individuals in the conduction of official city business.

The city will now use “noncitizen” to describe everyone who is not a citizen, blurring the distinction between a green card holder, a refugee, a temporary guest worker, a tourist, and an illegal alien.

A breach of the new law could result in up to a $250,000 fine.

Wonder if they considered adding another sentence that would state:  BTW, we will also no longer allow rioting and looting of our city?

Re: They call Trump a dictator

Problem is -- a lot of "truth" is subjective.  Maybe not in the exact tweets referenced, yet certainly in the broader scheme of things.

Earlier this evening, I read a USA Today article which was essentially a "fact check" on another publication about mail-in ballot fraud.  USA Today rated the original article as "false".  Politi-fact rated the USA Today article as "false".  Now what?

And then, there's stuff like this --

covid mask doesnt protect facebook fact check not much to interpret
