Re: This is absurd

Well, cheapo, the fact is (at least so far) Trump did not shoot Comey, nor anyone else that we know of.  And, until he does, we don't need to worry about what our collective response would be.  But, rest assured, that he would not get by with it [he might be able to pardon himself to stay out of jail, but he could still be impeached, and he could still be sued in civil court].

Impeachment -- there might be a reason for it, but nothing proven so far that I've seen -- again, don't need to worry about it unless/until it happens.

Personally, it appears to me that (at this particular moment in time), Trump stands a bigger chance of re-election than impeachment for anything.

What "news" sources are you reading/watching to get you so worked up?  And, in the meantime, do you really think Pence has what it takes to be POTUS?

Re: This is absurd

What if Comey spied on Trump, should he be prosecuted?

Re: This is absurd

If it was illegal, yes.

AND/OR if he lied about it, yes.

AND/OR if it was illegal and he knew or instructed someone within his organization to do so, yes.

Re: This is absurd

Article II, section 2, clause 1 very clearly that no pardon can be given for a civil or state case. It has to be against the USA and cannot be for impeachment.

Re: This is absurd

So even IF he could pardon himself then it could happen only AFTER he was proven to be guilty.

Since this is such a hot issue with your dear leader do you suppose he knows he will be proven guilty?
