Re: This might outdraw The Super Bowl

I would like to see that "debate" as well, however the mainstream media would declare Obama the winner regardless. It would be a "emotion fest" not a debate of facts. Obama had Democrats in both houses his first2 years, he could've taken all kinds of guns then.

Declaration by the media or anybody would no effect on the conclusions that viewers would draw.  Do you seriously think that debate viewers sit benignly and wait fott the talking heads to tell them what they just heard?

Why would there be no facts?  Both sides would come loaded down with information.  Viewers could sort through them.

Obama passed nothing with his 2 Hoises.  Didn't pass a thing without GOP votes and wasn't going to get nearly all the Dem votes during his first term as the baggers had scores of them in their sights.

You just plopped down 3 urban legend BS memes on us, none with an ounce of cred or legitimacy.  Just fabricated generic complaints from winged-out radicals.

President Obama isn't about to hold a debate with the NRA or anyone else on gun control. He's a bully and will never engage with an opponent in which he can't control the narrative.

NRA, then, as a victim?  Priceless.  "Ma! They're looking at me funny!".

Obama's opinion means nothing so would a debate mean nothing. A few leftwing nut cases and NBC would be the only ones interested in the total distortion of facts.

Who said anything about the NRA being the victim. He will never debate anyone in an open forum because he would have to explain the the family of Brian Terry why he was killed by guns supplied to ILLEGALS by his administration.

Exactly. We would be getting our facts from the man who promised if we like our policy we can keep our policy. Period. The same media who spread that lie as truth would the spread his new lies as truth and cram his gun control down our throats and out our back side.

Re: This might outdraw The Super Bowl

Bruce, Obama "just knows" that because there are school shootings in the US that correlates to gunownership..he thinks "get rid of guns and problem solved" that is basically what Obama would argue.  However the US is unequal to Europe in many other instances, they ban GMOs, they don`t vaccinate as much..the US is controlled by Big Pharma.  The young shooters are on a steady diet of junk food, live in a spoiled celebrity fueled, video game fantasy world..more-so than their European counter parts.  Add on top the psychotropic drugs that they either aren`t taking and needed or overdosing.

We have a sick nation, some aren`t crazy but rather evil.  Obama isn`t saying what exactly he wants done with guns.  None of the shooting could`ve been stopped with anything other than locking the entire US population in prison and prison isn`t safe either.

Laws could be passed, none would heal a sick nation, then more laws on top would be put on and only the innocent would suffer.  It`s not what`s in a criminal`s hand that is the problem, it`s what`s in the criminal`s HEAD that`s the problem.

So then what could be the harm in an open discussion?
