I’ll reassert that electoral reforms that tend to reduce extremism on either end of the spectrum such as limiting partisan gerrymandering and having ranked choice voting would be quite worthwhile.

The problem is that taken as a whole, the American electorate is ever so slightly liberal- at least by MAGA standards.
