This should get Mueller's attention

Talk about a bombshell. This will drive some of you progressives over the edge.

snip-

As deputy FBI director, Andrew McCabe received a phone call on August 12, 2016 -- less than three months before the presidential election -- from the Obama Justice Department, in which he apparently was pressured to shut down the FBI's investigation into the Clinton Foundation (CF), an organization that some critics allege was used as a multi-million dollar pay-for-play operation to buy access to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

"What kind of Justice Deaprtment do we have, that a couple weeks before the election, that presidential political appointees are calling the No. 2 guy at the FBI, essentially saying, give Hillary a pass?" said Adams. "That's in the OIG report! That's the real bombshell!"

Re: This should get Mueller's attention

From Brent Bozell's organization that "places a higher premium on balance than spin." That's funny.

Did you get that from Sergei and Nikolai?

I'd be perfectly fine

with empanelling grand juries to investigate the 8 Trump enemies named in todays letter from some GOP Congressmen.*

Assuming that there was also an agreement to let the Mueller investigation run is course that was passed over Trump's veto.

But I don't think that's what this is really about. It is about providing whatabout ammo for a Prez and party that are getting double deep in some serious ####.

*contrary to Dave Dennison's* belief, he can't just "lock them up" without at least some semblance of due process.

*That would be Trump, not fetus whacker Broidy, who went by the same fake name.

Yes. Would they please, please get on with it

Name a 2nd Special Investigator and give him or her a budget  Sessions doesn’t have to recuse on any of the potential investigations. Name the names.  Hire an investigator and get on with it.  If they aren’t sure what infractions or what figures to targetgo to those Congressional Committees and ask them what they should dig in to and get on with it.

There has been this certain level of support for doing that and it comes up as a “whatabout” all of the time, almost as some obviously  think or believe that the ongoing investigations were some arbitrary scheme hatched up by Democrats, somehow? How?

The President is a Republican.  Both Houses of Congress are controlled by Republicans. Sessions, Rosenstein and Mueller are all Republicans.

Why in the heck aren’t any of these oft accused Democrats and non-partisan civil servants being investigated thoroughly, as the Special Investigator rules allow for.

This question has been asked a number of times here and never gets a peep in response.  Somebody among You Republicans has to have some notion of “why not”.

Is Sessions even going to respond to those members of Congress?

Re: Yes. Would they please, please get on with it

Bruce, did you get boinked on the head by a big 2X4 about two years ago and miss the whole Trump insurgency and how he ran against both the Communists and the RINOS? And miraculously won, even as guys like you that said they would never support a Clinton found her quite attractive, afterall?

Are you doing the Sgt. Schultz routine in memory of the late Donald Kraft, or are you really trying to be that obtuse?

You honestly thought that the election of Donald Trump was just business as usual in the USA and that he was going to play nice with the RINOS and just serve quietly for four or eight years? And that the deep state RINO's were going to say, geez, I guess we really were not listening to the actual voters and maybe we do need to take a hard look at some of our policies and if they really are supported by the American people.

It does make the hubris and fall of John Edwards much easier to grasp, though, as one can look at Trump's follies from 15 years ago and wonder how he ever thought he could not get caught up in his own kitty gate.

With that off your chest..

..and knowing full well that I know that you know that I understand what happened very clearly, how about answering my question?

To be fair and honest, i wasn’t thinking about you when I asked it as I don’t recall you having been very active in the whatabout caucus as some are. But for that handful of chronic mentionners....we were honored with a long pasted list of crimes and perpetrators here earlier today....I’n just asking why it hasn’t happened.  The R congressman who wrote the letter to Sessions would line up with your politics more so than the RINOs you on.

Again, just asking.

Yeah. I guess Mueller just too freaking busy. He's only got something like 20 full time lawyers and an unlimited budget. Just not enough hours in the day to investigate it all. And that Woodward and Bernstein just don't have the get up and go they once did.

A group of House Republicans are calling for the Department of Justice to investigate a laundry list of former agency heads and people involved in the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

The letter is addressed to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah John Huber. It asks that each of these men use their respective powers to investigate “potential violation(s) of federal statues” on the part of former FBI Director James Comey, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI counsel Lisa Page.

Re: Yes. Would they please, please get on with it

more on the attempt to go after the guilty:

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2018/04/18/republicans-call-for-criminal-investigation-in...

But that wasn't really what you wanted, right? You want to make the point that these investigations are not going to go anywhere, and the reason is what you suddenly seem to be obtuse to...that both the democrats in charge and the republicans in charge basically want the same things, and neither want what the American people that elected them want.

And that is the biggest issue faced going forward....about 40 percent of the country wants a system where your "rentiers", the people that own businesses and factories, and land, are taxed at high rates to provide the non productive slice of America with travel, cell phones and internet, food, section 8 housing, and a cash stipend. Let's not forget free healthcare, too....that really opened up the eyes of the normal Americans as to what was really going on. All the other so called "social issues" are a big smoke screen and could have been dealt with in short order with some common sense compromises.

Obviously there is a 40 percent core that doesn't really want this to happen, as they work hard and earn money, and try to get ahead on their own merits. There are $100,000 per year jobs that are not being filled where the basic requirements are that you can fog up a mirror and pass a drug test. Eliminate all the afore mentioned free stuff and able bodied men would find a way to keep their noses clean and to show up to run a train or drive a truck. They would want the $20000 signing bonus if they knew the alternative was no freebies, right? This is the great divide, not whether Trump was nailing and impregnating playmates and porn stars, or whether Mrs. Clinton is as crooked as a dogs hind leg.

But our politicians, like you and the late Shifty,do the Sgt Schutz routine and pretend not to see it , at least while in session in Washington, because there really is not an answer that 40 percent of the current American mix is not going to extremely dislike.

10... maybe 15 fit the later.  Backfilled by 25 or 30, to get to 40, who are characteristically of the former, but have for various reasons decided that they like the people better across the tracks.
