As per my comments about the totally self-serving actions of many of the Trusted Sources, the Tea Party is basically a scam to loot money from a lot of elderly people in the south and midwest.
The IRS was likely entirely correct to take a close look at all the outfits with "freedom" in the title that were flooding registrations back in '09.
However the Trusted Sources turned it around into another moneymaker.
