SD - it’s far scarier now to be out, than 4 months ago.

My son said he went grocery shopping yesterday in NW Minnesota, and of the 50 people in the store, one person besides them was wearing a mask.  And, because they had masks on, they were looked at like they were lepers.

People think this is over.  Can you imagine, the theme parks in Florida will open next month.  Masks will be required.  I can’t imagine wearing a mask in the stifling heat of Florida, and being a a theme park all day.  Like going to a Trump rally, I wonder if you’ll have to sign something that says you’re entering at your own risk.   Do you think Trump’s rally will require people to wear masks, or will you be required to not wear one, to show unity and support of their “great” leader?   I hope there isn’t a mask in the house.....

Although it has been fascinating watching the RW disinfo complex leading these idiots around by the nose.

The desperate gambit to try to produce a Potemkin economy for the election, in a race with a novel virus, is one of the biggest gambles in history. Although I assume they think the deck is stacked- they can work with chaos too.

I feel semi OK for the moment- local case count is near 0.  But we're continuing to only go out sparingly and wear masks when we do.

BTW, the illusion that the economy can recover without controlling the virus appears to be evaporating.

Maybe you missed it - a lot of them actually did - though it’s hard to keep them in place, and probably useless anyway, when you’re yelling through them.   

Most of the protesters were young.   Like everything else they do, they don’t think that anything bad, will affect their lives.   

Did the riots help spread the virus - absolutely.   And the spike from that will be seen soon....

Gotta get back to getting lectured about how Our Founders risked life and property for liberty.

The authoritarians tend to be people who have something- a little or some- and are just terrified of losing it. Or more specifically, that someone below them in their view of the proper order might get something they don't deserve.

That even goes as far as LGBT people having the same right that I enjoy. Which as far as I can figure takes nothing away from me.
