Thurberg calls for end of capitalism
It's not about man made global warming. It's not about the rising sea level. It's not about the climate at all. It's all about the power.
Climate activist Greta Thunberg has gone fully mask off and is now calling for the overthrow of “the whole capitalist system.”
Thunberg made the extremist comments during an appearance on Sunday night at London’s Royal Festival Hall to promote her new ‘Climate Book’.
Nicholas Harris from UnHerd was there to watch Thunberg outline her demented manifesto.
Previously, she’d sold herself as a five-foot human alarm bell, a climate Cassandra. Her role was to warn, not to instruct: her most viral moments involved her scolding political leaders, not trying to supplant them. She strenuously avoided programmatic detail, saying such things were “nothing to do with me”. But now, on stage and in this book, she has found her political feet, specifically the Left-wing ideology of anti-capitalism and de-growth.
Interspersed among the usual directives about the need to pressure political leaders, her message was more radical and more militant than it has been in the past. There is no “back to normal”, she told us. “Normal” was the “system” which gave us the climate crisis, a system of “colonialism, imperialism, oppression, genocide”, of “racist, oppressive extractionism”. Climate justice is part of all justice; you can’t have one without the others. We can’t trust the elites produced by this system to confront its flaws – that’s why she, much like Rishi Sunak, won’t be bothering with the COP meeting this year. COP itself is little more than a “scam” which facilitates “greenwashing, lying and cheating”. Only overthrow of “the whole capitalist system” will suffice.
So now we are finally seeing the contours of Thunbergism. Run your eye down the contributors to The Climate Book and you can see who she’s been reading: Jason Hickel, Kate Raworth, Naomi Klein. For these people the climate crisis isn’t man-made. It’s made by capitalism, as are the other forms of social injustice which plague society. There’s no GDP growth – especially of the capitalist sort – without increasing carbon emissions. The only solution to this state of emergency is for rich countries to immediately abandon economic expansion as a social goal.

Re: Poor little old 3020, afraid of a little girl.
3020 & the rest of the nincompoops cheer on Elmo, who pays $44 billion to give the nincompoops a place to say anything they want no matter how untrue, ridiculous, and inflammatory. But the moment a single person says anything the least controversial or inconvenient, 3020 throws a hissy fit.
Meanwhile, 3020 and his squad call for the nullification of elections & the end of democracy in America practically every day.

It's not about the climate. It's is about the power. If she succeeds in ending capitalism what will take it's place? What system is better than capitalism?

Re: Poor little old 3020, afraid of a little girl.
Twitter is already currently over half "untrue, inflammatory and ridiculous" it`s just that it`s coming from the "approved side" of the fence. 😀 There`s people famous only for on posting on twitter. I wouldn`t get any information from there without knowing the author, because I`ve seen where even "good people" post doctored facts. Trouble with that shooting from the hip if you use it in a argument with a sharp Lib, they`ll spot it and call you out.

Re: Poor little old 3020, afraid of a little girl.
The most notorious topics censored on twitter, hunters laptop and all the pandemic/vaxs info turned out to be true. What was promoted was lies.

A serious question that won`t get answered, but what will Gretta`s "solutions" do to food prices?

Re: Thurberg calls for end of capitalism: NEVER
Greta Thunberg and a few of life’s NEVERS..
- Never take the advice of hysterical school girls.
- Never make the mistake of believing in your own propaganda (See: MSM/Silicon Valley Ukrainian War coverage).
- Never invest in anything on the basis of race, creed, color, wokeness, fashionable climate ideology, or sexual orientation.
- Never trust any medical doctor with your own health who has benefited from Affirmative Action hiring, med school preferred enrollment, or selection.
- Never overestimate how smart you are or how dense an opponent is.
- Never get in a hurry to die. Sometime in your life, you might have the rest of your life to decide what your next move might be. Try very hard to choose wisely at this juncture.
- Never loan significant amounts of money to family, friends, or neighbors.
- Never play poker with a guy named Doc.
- Never eat at a place called Mom’s.
- Never tell a man to go to H*LL unless you also have the power to send him there.
- Never try to stop an enemy who is busily trying to destroy himself.
