Tim Tebow for Prsident!

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-farmer-nfl-week-14-20111212,0,3551479.column  He has over ten yrs before he`s eligible, but what a super role model.   Because of all the bad actors in football I`m not a big fan.  This is starting to change with Tebow, I caught the Broncos Vs Vikings game last week and usually a Purple fan I found myself rooting for the "wounded duck thrower" from Denver.  Now Tebow performs a miracle in the 4th quarter against the Bears.  You go Tebow!

Been waiting a good month for one of you to make that proposal. What took you so long?

Re: Tim Tebow for Prsident!

I can remember the Tiebow ad that came out a while back, and all the flap that it caused.  For those who don't remember, Tiebow's mom was urged to have an abortion (for reasons I don't remember) and she didn't, and had what she called her 'miracle baby'.

Well, word got out about Tiebow and his mom being in a 'pro-life' ad, and all sorts of feathers were ruffled.

When I found out that the ad was being called all sorts of bad things, I wondered what was going on.  When I found out WHO was making the accusations (without ever seeing the ad, mind you) I knew this Tiebow guy must be OK.

Word I hear is he may not be the most talented player in the league, but his coaches say no one on the team works harder than he does.

Re: Tim Tebow for Prsident!

Well, I only really noticed him in the Vikings game.  He`s having success while being unconventional, it`s looking like it could be the making of a Cinderella story.  Sports writters made up their minds about him too soon. BTW it would`ve almost made your day if you could`ve gave me a civics lesson on the requirements that Tebow doesn`t currently have for being President...sorry Smiley Happy

!2-15  yrs or so too young, for starters. 2024? Who knows. Might be a famous and popular man of the country by then.

It's comical how much publicity Tebow is getting while the man that made it possible got fired.  Denver had no choice but to keep Tebow because of how high he was drafted and the money that came with it.  Tebow doesn't bring a lot to the table, but what he does bring is priceless.  He's brought a group of men together that believe they can accomplish anything.  In a team sport, this is 90% of the battle.

Re: Tim Tebow for Prsident!

Hey husker, that is exactly what we need as a leader today, someone to "unite" these states, that is 90% of fixing things. Obama, on purpose or happenstance has not brought this country together. Repubs are the only chance we hve to once again get united, dems wiill only push more socialism which will ony generate anger and divisiveness.

Don't want to burst any bubbles here, but Tebow didn't win that game yesterday, Chicago handed it to him on a silver plater. One thing is for sure, there is NO ONE in the NFL that is having more fun than Tim Tebow.

He deserves to be judged outside the shadow of his parents.

I like his success as it drives the "experts" crazy. If he didn't play for the Broncos I would be all in.

I don't know if his style will allow him to have a long career. Unless he finds lightening in a bottle with his passing game he will take too much pounding.

Chicago is in the giving mood, although it was a Hail Mary when the Chiefs go to put one in the W column.
