as Our Regulars try to make hay over oil prices that are less than half what they were 13 years ago, on an inflation adjusted basis.

Reuters article says that the Biden Admin is extremely concerned about raising gas prices with a higher blend rate before the 2022 midterms.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

On a BTU adjusted basis, a 10% blend only adds about .04 to the price of a gallon.

Although should there be crop problems that could expand to a dime or more the midterms.

And sadly, the Dems owe "agriculture" nothing and could not do enough to get that vote no matter what.
