Re: Top 8 Covid Myths

For what it's worth, I think covid-19 is worse than the type A flu for people in the high risk group for covid 19.  Across all age and health ranges that's not so clear.

That does not change the fact that most people are going to get covid 19 eventually or they'll be vaccinated for it.    If you can wait or hide till there is a vaccine, great, good for you.   The vast majority can't.

And those in hiding are relying on those that don't to keep their lights on and food in their belly.

Ideologues are immune to evidence.

Doesn’t appear to have worked out well for Sweden or its economy.

This is “the economy and your life.”

Re: Top 8 Covid Myths

Thanks Cheapo - you said it all.

But SF will not get rid of the infections on here.  People like you and I, Bruce and SD, are considered to be the virus.

There are some bad players on here.  BA, the real troll gh, 3020, and Indianola’s finest Mensa member Milligan, I see as dangerous people.  They have all been passing along information that has cost people their lives.  And they continue to do so.  They have been wrong, and still are wrong - but they have sworn loyalty to the PINO, and the end, like always, justifies the means with these people.

They should all have been removed a long time ago.  But they are the group that Meredith has aligned with.  And they will never be removed, no matter what they say.

Re: Top 8 Covid Myths

I think the CDC guidelines for reopening- which the administration shelved- were sound.

Yes we have to open up but doing it in anything other than the wisest way possible is an enormous risk that goes beyond just immediate politics.

Even though I see no indication that Dennison understands it, this is his biggest gamble since having unprotected sex with hookers.

Re: Top 8 Covid Myths

If everyone wore effective masks in public and observed common sense measures I think we could drive the R0 below 1.

Although much more testing and tracing would surely help.

Can’t think of anything more patriotic, except for people who hate what America really is.

The manner in opening up is the responsibilty of state governors.

Re: Top 8 Covid Myths

All but the most brain dead cult member governors would have followed CDC guidelines if they were strongly promoted by the WH.

Probably all- Bevin is gone.

Great deal- the administration does less than nothing then shifts blame to the states.
