Trump Draws Line

Well, today's the day of the big first vote, on one of the issues our so called president campaigned on.

So, it's obvious, the the Republicans, with all their bitching the last 7 years, had NO WORKABLE PLAN. Surprise, surprise. And our so called president, who said, "You're going to love my plan!" NO PLAN!!!

So now, they're going to gut gut the plan, and take out many of the health services that, well, that make a health care plan, a health care plan.

So it'll be back to the gal that worked with me at Syngenta, whose husband had to have his gall bladder removed, and they ended up paying $24,000 of a $26,000 dollar bill. Which they weren't expecting, because they "thought" that they had insurance. My gall bladder surgery, cost me about $500.00. In the end, you get what you pay for.

Which is why, when our so called president, kept saying that we were going to pay a "fraction" of what we are paying now, and with better coverage, well, it was obvious to me that that:

1. He had no clue what he was talking about
2. He was lying to America to get elected
3. If it's too good to be true, it probably is

17% of Americans approve of this NEW plan, maybe less now - who knows - I guess we'll have to approve it, to see what's in it.

Let's just call this piece of legislation what it is - a failure. A failure on the part of our so called president, because he really had no idea what he was talking about during the election, and Congress, for all the bitching they did the last 7 years, really were just bitching, and have no idea how to make life better in this country.

We live under a dictator, who has no idea what that he!! he is doing. Which, many of us knew before the election. But, too many simply couldn't see it.

Tick Tock....

Re: Trump Draws Line

The federal government has no logical reason for being in the health insurance business.

Re: Trump Draws Line

Allen, your simplistic view of life doesn't warrant a reply, beyond this.

Re: Trump Draws Line

simplistic! I suppose if you complicate things to the point no one understands you can get what you want right?

Re: Trump Draws Line

You, just like our so called president, think you have all the answers. When actually finally confronted with the health care problem , that he had a fix for, suddenly changed his tune.

Who knew health care could be so tough.

Who indeed....

Re: Trump Draws Line

You must be talking about Obama's plan.

end of the trail

for pale males.

Can't hardly believe the endless lineup of white fellers on TV with $100 haircuts and look like they're playing a politician in a soap opera (they are) with lies shooting out of their mouths like projectile vomiting.

Interesting that the Kingfish isn't pale (orange) and doesn't have the standard coiffe (but apparently thinks what he has looks good.)

Same too for the camo-jammy/toy machine gun crowd- they've been worked like rented mules by the money men and their hirelings but will probably never understand what happened.

I'm a relatively pale feller myself but I'm getting old and can live with a precipitous decline in our cultural influence although guess I don't have much choice.

Privatize Medicare and get rid of Medicare and such, right?

Re: Trump Draws Line

Medicare was a mistake from years ago that people paid into. Now they want Medicaid for everyone any the gov pays for it. When do you suppose the money will run out?

Re: Trump Draws Line

You'd have to have an indeterminable amount of information to begin to even roughly estimate that. Not to mention all of the options there are to replenish the supply.

What's crazy about someone who obviously holds the political leanings that you do is that you are tightly coupled with those like the new Trump budget point man who see no long term harm in a general default.  Quite a paradox, actually. Unless you've got a couple of cream cans full of Eagles and bars buried in your back yard. And a machine gun nest in the hay mow.
